On November 4, 2007 at 5:00pm, we had 14 members attend the first W.T.F. meeting.
Present were: Andre Silva, Shannon Silva, Annie Segrest, Oliver Mellan, Jim Kreul, Kevin Wilson, Steve Rogers, Micki Wheeler, Lexi Lefkowitz, Aaron Cavazos, Justin Plakas, Nick Laudadio, Damian Ashley and James Grantham.

The meeting started at 5:10pm.

-Andre entertained us with his stories from his childhood, which were quite hilarious.
-We talked about a 24 hour film painting marathon, using 1000ft. clear film that people will alter.
-As part of the above event a Pancake Midnight Breakfast was discussed.
-An all night Gallery-like show involving improv, different art forms (exp. music, vjing, spoken word, writen word, dance), ending with screening.
-Need to look for warehouse space. Preferably downtown.
-Nick discussed music element, wants a make your own instrument, non-melodic element.
-Everyone with their own talents come together to teach eachother and try everything.
-Justin Plakas, Nick Laudadio and Jim Kruel offered to share resources and experiences, much like the Silvas have been doing.
-The group discussed each persons strengths/what we bring to the table.
-As a group we bring the following: photography, dance, VJ-ing, handpainting film, hand processing, event planning, festival organization, popcorn providing, instilation, motion graphic design, resident marxism, generative art/generative sound art, experimental everything.
-Steve expressed an interest in involving spoken word; Micki in involving written word, others in getting the film and VJ-ing to flow with the other events going on.
-Andre offered to video tape events; James to record events photographically.
-It was recommended that Oliver and Annie pre-record an instructional dance piece to be played/performed at the event in their absence.
-It was suggested that people do what they normally wouldn't do.
-We would start with nothing --->end with product (maybe not finished product, but close to it).
-Justin agreed to be our location guru
-As others see possible venues send info to Justin via email
-First event date - late January.

-NEXT MEETING December 2nd at 5pm
Questions and updates:

-Date?
-How the whole event will go down?
